K2 Integrity is seeking a senior accountant who will report to the Global Director of Accounting and Finance. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various activities in corporate accounting for our US and EMEA offices. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a solid understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with general ledger maintenance. Below is a list of responsibilities for this role (note the list may not be comprehensive).

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Maintain depreciation lapse schedules – calculating monthly depreciation amounts and recording monthly journal entries
  • Prepare monthly account analysis/reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly sales tax returns, excise tax and commercial rent tax
  • Prepare monthly journal entries
  • Assist/oversee with the accounts payable (i.e. prepare pay runs, enter vouchers, review voucher entry for accuracy)
  • Participate in treasury functions (i.e. review daily cash balances)
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of client accounting procedure and training manuals.
  • Monthly preparation of reports for foreign accountants to maintain compliance in those countries
  • Assist with annual US and UK financial statement audits
  • Assist with the preparation of the workpapers for outside tax teams
  • Prepare quarterly unaudited financial statements
  • Perform adhoc analyses and reports upon request
  • Maintain employee access to corporate credit card

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in major and overall required
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency with Excel and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment
Minimum Salary: $70,000 | Maximum Salary: $85,000
