K2 Integrity’s Bryan Stirewalt will speak on a panel at The Future of Digital Assets Symposium on 2 March 2023 in Washington D.C. on the “Global Crypto Regulatory Outlook”. This symposium is policymaker and practitioner oriented with conversations on how to move forward with digital assets from a use case to regulation, with topics that are top of mind for our legislators.
After a tumultuous year for digital assets in 2022, Bryan will be discussing the outlook for regulation of the sector in the coming year. He will discuss a variety of approaches from different jurisdictions, some of which view digital assets as an economic opportunity and some of which view digital assets as an economic threat. Bryan will also discuss the approaches taken by supranational bodies and standard setters such as the Financial Stability Board, the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, and the Financial Action Task Force. The panel will be moderated by the Milken Institute FinTech Team and Bryan will be joined by Noach Hacker, Minister of Economic Affairs at the Embassy of Israel.
