On Thursday, March 24, 2016, K2 Intelligence will host a compliance seminar for the Association of International Bank Auditors (AIBA). The K2 Intelligence Regulatory Compliance team, will present “Proposed Financial Regulations and CCO Certification,” along with co-presenter Satish Kini, chair of Debevoise & Plimpton’s Banking Group. They will review the regulations proposed by the Department of Financial Services, and discuss what they mean for anti-money laundering programs and personal liability risk for compliance officers. Also speaking at the program are Cyrus Vance, New York County District Attorney, who will give the keynote address, and Frank Cummings, co-founder and CEO of AML Partners, who will present on the topic “The Risk-Based Approach: A Framework for Full Implementation.” AIBA chair Michelle Fleming will give the opening and closing remarks. The event will take place at the Vanderbilt Suites in New York.
