In “Art Crime Detectives Expose the Ugly Truths of the Art World” (The Creators Project, 8 Dec. 2015) Jordan Arnold, head of the Art Risk Advisory practice for K2 Intelligence, and Mark Fishstein, lead investigator with the practice, were profiled on their extensive experience investigating art fraud, theft, and crimes. During the interview, they discussed how counterfeits are becoming more common due to advances in technology. According to Jordan, “One of the greatest outcomes of the work that we do is we can help protect the integrity of an artist’s work and make sure that it’s not being diluted by bad actors who might seek to counterfeit it or pass bad title to it.”
