Neelam Sharma is the chief business development and ESG officer at K2 Integrity. With more than 20 years of experience and an in-depth understanding of key client industries, such as FinTech, banking, and private equity, Neelam develops custom programs that help each client address the evolving risk and regulatory landscape. She leads ESG client engagements to assess whether the client has met growing ESG regulatory compliance mandates and works to improve operational efficiencies. Neelam also has overall oversight of the development of the Integrity 2 ESG Certification end-to-end solution, including the creation and development of K2 Integrity’s ESG proprietary framework and the development of AI/ML algorithms to support the automation, scalability, and repeatability of the firm’s ESG program. Her expertise and skills support the scalability and market adoption of K2 Integrity’s ESG offering.
As the firm’s chief business development officer, Neelam is focused on driving revenue by creating and shaping K2 Integrity’s suite of products and services to deliver innovative digital solutions for the firm’s growing global client base. In partnership with practice leadership globally, Neelam also builds integrated business development campaigns aimed at increasing the firm’s market share and awareness, while promoting collaboration between the practice groups and offices.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity, Neelam spent over a decade at PwC in various strategic roles, most recently serving as a director in the firm’s Risk and Regulatory Data and Technology practice. At PwC, she supported leading financial services firms with their digital transformations and digital risk and regulatory systems. Her role included the development of advanced, proprietary technology solutions and several patent-pending ideas using AI and NLP.
As a thought leader in compliance, data and analytics space, Neelam frequently shares her insights and perspectives on the intersection of financial services, innovation, and data at high level events and in thought leadership.
Neelam received an M.P.A and a B.A. from Pace University. She holds a certificate in essentials of marketing from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, a certification in business analytics from Cornell University, and a Chief Risk Officer certification from Carnegie Mellon University. Additionally, Neelam served as the lead director for The Digital Transformation and Innovation Center at Carnegie Mellon University, where she managed emerging technology projects.
