Rostyslav Grynov is a security consultant at K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group, specializing in complex application security penetration testing and evaluations, with experience spanning web, API, mobile application, and network penetration testing.
Rostyslav conducts black- and white-box penetration testing of applications, auditing, security research, and the training and mentoring of other security consultants. His work focuses on integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle and research and development related to web and API security. He also brings experience in Amazon Web Services and distributed systems development, including IAM, Lambda, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, and other major AWS services, as well as application reviews across frameworks such as Electron JS and Meteor JS and source code reviews in Node.js, JavaScript, Java, Golang, PHP, Python, Ruby, C/C++, and .NET.
Before joining K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group, Rostyslav worked as a security consultant in a bank. In addition to his background in cybersecurity, he has experience in machine learning, deep learning, and cryptographic algorithms and protocols.
Rostyslav earned an M.Sc. and B.S. in cybersecurity from Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. He has also contributed to broader industry discussion as co-author of the publication Ruby on Rails Testing Guide.
