Juan Zarate will speak on the seminar, “Power Tools: Economic Sanctions” at the CSIS 3-day executive education course on 17 May 2021.
The use of sanctions has grown exponentially since 9/11, but questions remain about their cost and efficacy. During this seminar, Juan will explore how various types of economic sanctions are implemented and their implications for U.S. business, U.S. foreign policy, and other U.S. interests such as the role of the dollar.
