Lindsay Di Fede will speak at a special event held as part of the London International Investigations and Asset Recovery Conference (LIIARC). The 21 November event, hosted by Hogan Lovells and consisting of an informal lunch and panel discussion, will develop the theme “The Role and Importance of Individuals in Investigations.”
Lindsay and her fellow panelists will discuss the role played by individuals, specifically looking at suspects and witnesses, individual misconduct and attributing liability to the corporation, Interpol red notices and extradition issues, interplay between civil and criminal proceedings, stays and adjournments on account of parallel proceedings, and disclosure issues in parallel proceedings and the privilege against self-incrimination.
