In a recent Reuters CyberRisk video, Jeremy Kroll, CEO of K2 Intelligence, discusses how hackers target the email accounts of high-net-worth individuals. According to Jeremy, hackers are able to create a fake email address that mirrors your account and then use it to spoof or trick your contacts into communication. The information they gather gives them the opportunity to steal, compromise, or destroy your digital assets, which can include personally identifiable information (PII) such as health data and personal or corporate banking information.
