On 15 September 2020, Juan Zarate, global co-managing partner and chief strategy officer at K2 Intelligence FIN, was featured on a panel, “From Al Qaeda to QAnon: The Rise of Hate and Extremist Ideology Post 9/11,” presented by the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics. The panel discussed events in the 19 years since September 11, 2001 and asked questions surrounding the rise of “hate armies,” including:
