Hannah Coleman Lee is a senior managing director in K2 Integrity’s Investigations and Disputes practice. She advises clients across financial services and asset management, real estate, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, and family offices on complex investigative, diligence, and dispute-related matters.

With over two decades of investigative experience, Hannah helps clients plan, manage, and execute matters from end to end; her experience spans litigation support, due diligence, counterfeit and diverted product investigations, fraud investigations, and other sensitive matters that require careful coordination and clear strategic guidance. She guides clients through fast-moving, logistically demanding engagements, delivering actionable intelligence that supports critical business and legal decisions.

Prior to joining K2 Integrity, Hannah was a director at Kroll Inc. She holds a B.A. in comparative literature and society from Columbia University.

Representative Matters

Market Intelligence: Served as a key team member of the K2 Integrity team that conducted an in-depth study, commissioned by the Association of National Advertisers, into transparency issues in the media-buying industry. Hannah subsequently led K2 Integrity media transparency consulting assignments on behalf of advertisers seeking to learn whether any nontransparent practices identified in the report were at work in their agency relationships.
Senior Executive Profiling: Spearheaded the detailed background investigations of more than a dozen potential board candidates in a corporate contest, which included reputational background, analysis of their performance on other boards, and anticipation of arguments that the adversarial party could put forward against them.
Intellectual Property Investigations: Worked on behalf of a medical device manufacturer whose product was being diverted. The investigation involved public records and online research into the suspected diverter’s corporate structure and business operations, as well as evidentiary purchases of the product at issue. The findings of this research and the diverted product identified through the evidentiary purchases helped form the basis of a civil seizure order that Hannah executed as part of a team of investigators and attorneys.
Counterfeit Pharmaceuticals: Served as lead practitioner on a multiyear investigation into a vast network of prescription drug traffickers selling counterfeit pharmaceuticals. Key components of the investigation included planning and execution of over 25 federal civil seizure orders; large-scale data review and analysis to identify co-conspirators and locate assets; interviews of cooperating parties; and extensive research and analysis of discovery materials and open-source data to identify new leads and bolster the client’s case. To date, the investigation has formed the basis of 18 federal indictments and 14 convictions.
