Mary Fisher is an associate managing director in K2 Integrity’s Investigations and Disputes practice, based in New York. She provides investigative research to corporations, law firms, government agencies, and individuals and conducts multijurisdictional investigations into allegations of fraud at a national and international level. Using a variety of strategies and resources, she finds facts clients can use—ranging from managing and researching complex cross-border asset searches to assessing investment decisions and strategic research related to fast-moving proxy contests. She conducts pre-transaction due diligence related to real estate investments and business-related reputation risk exposure and provides litigation support enhanced by K2 Integrity’s proprietary social media platform.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity, Mary spent a year at Kroll, where she learned the basics of investigative research. Before that, Mary spent three years as a research associate in the strategy unit at Harvard Business School, where she co-authored business cases on The Walt Disney Company, Cree, Inc., and The Guardian, among others. Prior to working in academia, Mary was a research manager at the Corporate Executive Board in Washington, D.C., and an analyst in the syndicated loan and project finance group at Thomson Financial in New York.
Mary received a M.S. in foreign service from Georgetown University and a B.A. in East Asian studies, magna cum laude, from Union College. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
