Paul McCutcheon is an advisor working closely with K2 Integrity to grow its UAE and wider Middle East business. With over 25 years of living and working in the UAE and the wider Middle East, Paul has experience working in the region with family offices, corporations, sovereigns, and governments in the sectors of energy transition, infrastructure, and real estate. He has a proven track record in due diligence and investigations, producing strategic advisory reports and recommendations for ICs, some of which he sat on himself.
Paul has worked with some of the largest foundations in the world, private equity groups, asset managers, governments as well as all of the DFIs around the world. In all of his transactions, Paul has always teamed with legal counsel to work through the legal and regulatory issues for transactions. Paul started his career at Morgan Stanley, working with the fixed income trading floor before moving to the Middle East in 2000. During this time, he served as head of the emerging markets real estate and infrastructure fund for Fleming Family and Partners and spent time in Africa working on investigating and conducting due diligence on corporations, foundations, and government projects.
Paul received a B.A. (Hons) in European business from Loughborough University as well as a Maîtrese Sciences Techniques degree from University of Rennes in France. He is fluent in French. Paul has been involved in raising funds for children’s charities such as Wooden Spoon and Children with Leukemia.
