Samuel Sharpe is a director in K2 Integrity’s Investigations and Disputes practice. He provides due diligence and open-source investigative research for a variety of clients, including law firms, corporations, and investment firms. Samuel specializes in due diligence and conducts investigations relating to issues of bribery, fraud, and corruption; legal, commercial, and reputational risk; and compliance and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity, Samuel was an intern at The Wire China, a weekly digital magazine, where he researched and wrote daily news roundups and provided deadline-sensitive research, proofreading, and fact-checking support. Before that, Samuel was a communications consultant at global industry organization Women in Payments, where he conducted qualitative research and polled members to create actionable recommendations for events and services the organization could offer. He led the development of a private social network for the organization’s 5,000+ members and wrote and copyedited marketing communications to promote the network at conferences and events.
Samuel received an M.A. in journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism and a B.A. in culture and media studies from the Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts at The New School.
