Skip Trachtman is head of client engagement at K2 Integrity. With more than 25 years of experience in sales and client relations, Skip leverages his relationship skills to help clients solve for their most complex issues. Skip also works closely with the firm’s practitioners and subject-matter experts to help drive new business and deepen existing relationships.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity, Skip was the director of business development at SS&C Technologies, where he sold fund administration and other related services to alternative asset managers. Working closely with prospective clients to understand their specific needs, Skip prepared and conducted demonstrations of SS&C’s technology platform in conjunction with subject-matter experts and worked closely with the team to ensure proposals addressed clients’ requirements.
Before his time at SS&C Technologies, Skip was an account vice president at UBS Private Wealth Management and JP Morgan Private Bank, where he was part of a team serving ultra-high-net-worth clients and family offices. He cultivated new relationships and provided comprehensive financial goals analysis to determine a client’s optimal asset allocation. Earlier in his financial services career, Skip held sales positions on the trading desks at CIBC/Oppenheimer, Thomas Weisel Partners, and Stifel Nicolas.
Prior to his time in the financial services industry, Skip served as general counsel of a full-service home heating and oil supply company, and also spent time as an assistant prosecutor in the Essex County Prosecutor’s office.
Skip received a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and a B.A. in finance from The George Washington University.
