Elizabeth Severinovskaya will participate in an upcoming Innovation Community Roundtables session, part of an invitation-only series focused the material implications of AI deployment across financial technology, regulatory compliance, and supervisory technology hosted by Digital Transformation Solutions and co-hosted by Columbia School of Engineering’s Center for Digital Finance and Technologies.
The 16 September closed-door roundtable—focused on digital assets, stablecoins, and tokenized finance—will convene 40 senior professionals representing regulators, former regulators, academia, and the private sector for a candid discussion of current challenges and emerging opportunities for collaboration.
The session will examine how digital assets are moving from the periphery of the regulated financial system into the mainstream as interest from financial institutions, payments companies, and commercial enterprises continues to grow. Elizabeth and her fellow participants will share views, predictions, and lessons from the field on how decisions related to licensing, supervision, standards, oversight, and infrastructure may shape the marketplace of tomorrow.
