Ankur Sundara is a security consultant with K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group, where he provides security architecture guidance and conducts black- and white-box application penetration testing and secure code reviews for clients. His work focuses on web, browser, and cloud security, with additional experience testing mobile and native applications. He is recognized for a practical, engineering-driven approach to identifying and mitigating complex security risks across modern application environments.
Before joining K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group, Ankur performed extensive bug bounty hunting, uncovering multiple medium- and high-severity vulnerabilities in Fortune 500 companies and major web browsers, including Chrome. He is an active participant and organizer within the competitive security community and is a core member of the top-ranked capture-the-flag team in the United States, with top-three finishes at ASIS, SECCON, HITCON, and DEFCON. Over the course of his career, Ankur has also worked as a full-stack software engineer at companies such as Formlabs and Instabase, where he took on security engineering responsibilities ranging from designing key management systems for 3D printers to ensuring robust sandboxing for cloud applications.
Ankur holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
