Denys Tushchenko is a security consultant with K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group, where he provides security architecture guidance and conducts black- and white-box penetration testing of applications, security audits, and security research and development. His work focuses primarily on web application and API penetration testing, as well as comprehensive security reviews of source code, supporting organizations in identifying and mitigating complex application-layer risks.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group, Denys worked as a security engineer at Betta Security Ltd., where he led the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity solutions, participated in incident response activities, consulted and trained customer engineering teams, and contributed to the deployment of company infrastructure.
Denys holds a B.S. in cybersecurity from the National Technical University of Ukraine’s Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and is pursuing a master’s degree in information and information technologies security at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University. Denys holds multiple industry certifications, including Burp Suite Certified Practitioner (BSCP), Web Application Penetration Tester eXtreme v2 (eWPTXv2), and API Security Certified Professional (ASCP).
