Dmytro Mykhalko is a security consultant at K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group, specializing in web penetration testing and secure code review. He conducts black- and white-box penetration testing, auditing, and security research and development (R&D), helping organizations identify critical vulnerabilities and strengthen their security posture across applications, web services, and APIs.
Before joining K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group as a security consultant, Dmytro completed an internship with the firm, developing hands-on experience in cloud security and deepening his capabilities in black- and white-box application testing. His broader technical background includes work as a back-end software engineer at SoftServe and as a project manager at Cleverr LLC.
Dmytro also brings experience as a lecturer and mentor in cybersecurity. As part of a veteran reintegration program, he taught web security to support veterans in building technical skills and transitioning back to civilian life. He also led a facultative cybersecurity course for students at National Aviation University, teaching web security and penetration testing to prepare them for careers in the field.
Dmytro holds a B.S. in cybersecurity from National Technical University of Ukraine’s Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in cybersecurity at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. He holds the eLearnSecurity Web Application Penetration Tester eXtreme (eWPTX) and Burp Suite Certified Practitioner (BSCP) certifications in web security.
