Kevin Fallis is a director in K2 Integrity’s Financial Crimes Risk Management practice. He has more than 30 years of experience serving the financial services industry in the areas of anti-money laundering (AML) compliance, risk management, operations, and investigations. Kevin specializes in transaction monitoring, historical transaction reviews, and Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance and investigations. Kevin assists U.S. and international financial institutions with the validation, fine-tuning, and implementation of transaction monitoring systems.
Prior to K2 Integrity, Kevin was an independent contractor assisting financial institutions with transaction monitoring in a quality control role. Kevin also previously served as a managing director at K2 Integrity, leading large-scale transaction reviews, overseeing business-as-usual transaction monitoring engagements, and assisting financial institutions in meeting the requirements of regulatory consent orders.
Kevin also served as an associate director at Navigant Consulting (formerly Daylight Forensic and Advisory). During his tenure at Navigant, he served as the project manager for a large-scale KYC file remediation that focused on a global bank’s private banking unit. He also supervised a team on an extensive historical transaction review, assisting the banking unit in the preparation of suspicious activity reports (SARs).
Before joining Navigant, Kevin was a managing director at Bear Stearns’ Corporate Treasury department, where his responsibilities included setting the firm’s interest rate indices across all currencies, monitoring global non-dollar bank accounts, and supervising a global interest compensation unit. His primary focus was the identification and subsequent resolution of operational inefficiencies that resulted in material interest expense to the firm.
Kevin earned his B.S. in finance from the State University of New York at Albany.
