Jeffrey Francisco is a managing director in the Financial Crimes Risk Management practice at K2 Integrity, based in New York. He advises Fortune 500 financial services institutions on a broad range of anti-money laundering (AML) initiatives, including transaction investigations, Know Your Customer (KYC) remediation efforts, policy and procedure development, and oversight of suspicious activity report (SAR) preparation. With over two decades of experience in the financial services and regulatory sectors, Jeffrey leads a team of more than 100 analysts and partners closely with clients to identify control gaps, assess risk exposure, and deliver both strategic and tactical risk mitigation solutions.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity, Jeffrey was a vice president in the Global Financial Crimes Compliance division at JPMorgan Chase, where he managed a team of 20 analysts and oversaw investigations related to foreign correspondent banking relationships, including end-to-end SAR processing and regulatory reporting.
Earlier in his career, he served as a manager within Ernst & Young’s Advisory Services practice, where he led AML engagements for global financial institutions, including AML/KYC gap analyses, historical transaction reviews (look-backs), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) risk assessments.
Jeffrey also held roles at Navigant Consulting, Capital One Bank, and the Internal Revenue Service’s Criminal Investigations Division, where he focused on complex financial investigations related to anti-money laundering and asset forfeiture.
He holds an M.A. in criminal justice leadership and a B.S. in criminal justice and business administration from St. John’s University. He is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and is fluent in Spanish.
