Matt Flegg is a senior investigator and risk advisory practitioner with more than 20 years of experience leading complex, multijurisdictional assignments for corporations, legal counsel, regulators, and financial institutions. He is recognized for his ability to resolve high-stakes challenges and deliver actionable insights that safeguard client interests during periods of crisis.
Matt specializes in anti-illicit trade work, internal investigations and employee misconduct inquiries, and digital wrongdoing. He has deep knowledge of investigative tools, open-source intelligence, and novel intelligence sources.
Before joining K2 Integrity, Matt held senior roles at a global investigations and risk advisory firm, where he designed and implemented sophisticated investigative strategies and led initiatives that integrated advanced technology and innovative techniques with traditional investigative methods.
Prior to that, Matt was a group manager at a boutique illicit trade and brand protection investigations company, where he managed global anti-counterfeiting investigations and grey market monitoring and analytics programs, and trained law enforcement.
Matt holds a B.A. (Hons.) in business management from Buckinghamshire New University.
