Michael Kallabat is global head of Investigations and Disputes for K2 Integrity. Michael guides organizations through their most complex risk and compliance challenges, bringing nearly two decades of experience advising boards and senior executives across the energy, finance, infrastructure, retail, and transportation sectors.
A trusted advisor at the executive level, Michael helps organizations identify critical vulnerabilities and build the enterprise-wide risk management strategies needed to protect their reputation and long-term resilience. He leads a multidisciplinary team of investigators, forensic accountants, and asset tracing specialists that deliver clear, defensible outcomes in complex disputes, cross-border fraud, and bribery and corruption investigations.
Michael is also a recognized authority on fraud risk program design, third-party anti-bribery and anti-corruption screening, and crisis and business continuity planning, ensuring that the organizations he serves are not only prepared for high-stakes challenges but also positioned to emerge from them stronger.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity, Michael was a managing director at a global international consultancy, based in Riyadh, where he led a team of investigators and executed compliance reviews for the global governing body of international member associations across Africa and the Middle East; led cross-border employment investigations involving fiduciary breaches, undisclosed conflicts of interest, misappropriation of funds, and related-party misconduct; and conducted global anti-corruption and compliance assessments for a multinational healthcare manufacturer across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.
Michael has a B.S. in finance and international business from Georgetown University.
