Phillip Christensen is a security consultant at K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group, specializing in complex applications, security penetration testing, and technical evaluations. His work includes hardware security engagements, security code reviews, and application penetration testing across web, API, and native platforms, as well as extensive testing of cloud services and applications for major cloud platform providers.
Philip brings more than two decades of experience in the electronics field, with a background that spans electronics repair and debugging, automated manufacturing development, systems integration, and advanced hardware and firmware security testing.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group, Phillip spent a decade at IBM working closely with hardware development teams responsible for IBM Flash Systems and Flash Core Modules. During early prototype stages, he tested hardware and firmware to validate design and functionality, and he designed and validated manufacturing hardware used by contract manufacturers. During his time at IBM, Phillip received five patents for his work in testing flash memory and manufacturing process improvements.
Phillip holds the CompTIA PenTest+ (Continuing Education), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), and GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT) certifications.
