Vitalii Asieiev is a security consultant with K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group, with a focus on security architecture guidance, black‑ and white‑box application penetration testing, auditing, and security research and development. Vitalii leads research and development initiatives focused on the security of web, API, and cloud‑based systems in commercial environments, identifying security risks, developing proof‑of‑concept exploits, and supporting secure system design across diverse technology stacks. He has also contributed automation solutions and custom fuzzing tools to enhance penetration testing efforts.
Prior to joining K2 Integrity/Leviathan Security Group, Vitalii served as a system engineer and administrator at the State Enterprise Industry Center for Digitalization and Cybersecurity. In this role, he supported and deployed enterprise infrastructure and strengthened the organization’s security posture through the configuration and implementation of security products.
Vitalii’s areas of expertise include application and network penetration testing, security architecture guidance, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. He has experience with core AWS services including IAM, Lambda, EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB. His skill set also spans proof‑of‑concept exploit development, application development and automation, and the configuration and hardening of Windows and Linux systems. In addition, Vitalii applies machine learning and deep learning techniques to support security research and advanced testing initiatives.
Vitalii has experience working with a wide range of programming languages and frameworks, including JavaScript, PHP, Python, Ruby, .NET, Java, C/C++, and Go, as well as other commonly used technologies.
Vitalii holds a B.S. in cybersecurity from National Technical University, Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
