Jason Wright is a senior managing director in the Investigations and Disputes practice at K2 Integrity and head of the firm’s Strategic Intelligence practice, which advises clients on complex acquisitions, investments and disputes. He has two decades of experience in Asia and Southern Europe and has also overseen groundbreaking investigative and intelligence work for K2 Integrity’s financial sector clients in the Middle East, including in Iraq. This work has combined advisory services, transaction monitoring and complex investigations into an innovative and transformative service line.
Jason joined K2 Integrity from Argo Associates Ltd, a Hong Kong–headquartered business intelligence and political risk consultancy that he founded in 2018. Serving as managing director of the consultancy, Jason worked with clients—including asset management companies and corporations across industries—on high-value and complex business intelligence projects, investigative due diligence and political risk assignments, litigation support, and fraud investigations.
Before founding Argo Associates, Jason worked at Kroll for over a decade, including more than five years in senior management roles. Prior to his time in Asia, he spent eight years in Italy working on investigations and business intelligence projects across southern Europe, including investigating mafia infiltration into Italy’s renewable energy sector. Before that, he worked as a television producer, director, and journalist on current affairs and art documentaries and magazine programs.
Jason has contributed numerous opinion pieces and interviews for publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Observer, The Times, The New York Times, and The Korean Economic Daily.
Jason received his M.A. in state management and humanitarian studies from La Sapienza University in Rome and his M.A. (Oxon) from St. Catherine’s College, Oxford University, where he was a scholar. He is fluent in Italian and also speaks basic Korean and Mandarin.
