Gabriel Hidalgo, managing director at K2 Intelligence, will moderate the panel discussion “Datanomics” at Fintech Week 2019, hosted by Georgetown University’s Institute of International Economic Law. The panel will shed light on how data is stored, managed, normalized, and ultimately leveraged for more informed business decisions, particularly in the financial services and fintech sectors.
Panelists will include Felipe Millon, senior manager, federal financials, Amazon Web Services; John Walsh, director, strategy and innovation, Refinitiv; Jason Cowell, founder and CEO, UIBA; Samantha Campbell, director of operations, Alqami; and Lucien Foster, head of digital partnerships, BNY Mellon. These panelists will discuss some of the core questions for the finance ecosystem around data, including:
- How can leaders train their companies to better understand their data needs, and how it can be maximized to its full potential?
- How can organizations clean large datasets and get their house in order?
- What techniques can be used to handle and use large datasets?
- Where is this all going to go in five years? What does it look like? Will there be new technologies organizations should be keeping their eyes on now?
Fintech Week encourages thought leaders from fintech firms to explain how their business services intersect with markets for a global audience consisting of policymakers, market participants, lawyers, and thought leaders.
