We are pleased to welcome Francis Hoar, Barrister at Field Court Chambers, who will join our team to discuss his involvement in the recent electoral fraud case in the London borough of Tower Hamlets. The judgment he secured in April 2015 saw the former mayor of Tower Hamlets, Lutfur Rahman, disqualified from office for five years after he was found guilty of buying votes with council grants, postal voting fraud (through his agents), and lying about his opponent. Francis was The Times Lawyer of the Week in May 2015. Francis, who specialises in election law and company and commercial law, including fraud, will provide a unique insight into the case and the discussion will be facilitated by Darren Matthews, Head of Investigations at K2 Intelligence.
